Pro-Am Oka Cup 2009 Rules and Detals

This year's 2-way Oka Cup is expanding to include a Pro-Am "fax / internet" meet.

• If planning to have video of your Pro-Am competition jumps, please pre-register your team name and members on the Cup website (being setup).
• For the 2-way Oka cup: (ken's modified rules)
• Email Ken with your team name, team members.
• We are setting up a web site to submit the videos for judging.
• Dive draw: Ken's, already done.
• The event is two (2) rounds, an optional third round maybe be used in place of the one of the first two dive draws.

5 categories:

• Pro-Am division: video or self scored categories
• Open division: video or self scored categories
• Oka Cup division: - must be present (Lodi) to win.

Video category: 2 min. working time;

• Pro-AM clock starts 1 minute after exit or 1st point which ever comes first.
• Open category, National rules, 30 seconds after exit.
• Two (2) rounds, as many attempts as you like, done over the 3-day Easter Weekend.
• Submit the best score of each of the 2 jumps.

Jump Video for Judging:

• Please keep the down load as small as possible.
• Pre-register your team name and members (email Ken or Marcie with a team name and password.
• Video to show, Team Name, 3 members name, Dive Number.
• Submit videos, down loaded to the website.
• Videos for scoring must be submitted by Monday before the meet at 6:00 pm PST.
• Down loaded comp. videos will be view able by the submitting team and judges only.
• All the videos will be released for general viewing after the judging is complete.
• Judges will volunteer Regional/Nationally USPA Rated.

Self scored category: from the exit--- 4,000 ft total time:

• Example: Exit at 10,000 ft AGL, scored down to 6,000 ft. AGL.
• Two (2) rounds, as many attempts as you like, done over the 3-day Easter Weekend.
• Submit the best score of each of the 2 jumps.
• Self scored submit scores via email: (Ken Oka) crwpilot@earthlink.net
• Email: Team Name, 3 members name, Dive No.and points on each dive.
• Self scores must be submitted by Monday 6:00 pm PST.

Oka Cup 2-way intent:

• Have fun.
• To get people doing CRW
• To get new people into CRW
• To get more CRWdogs at Nationals.

General competition rules.

• Have fun ! ! !
• Stair step dock; end cell A-line gripped with inside leg, canopy below shoulder. (If hand is also gripped is ok, but the inside leg must be gripped.)
• Center cell dock; a center cell A-line gripped with leg (you do not have to be in the center cell), canopy below shoulder. If hand is also gripped is ok, but leg must be gripped.
• Show The Grips. (But you do not have to hold for ever)
• The camera flyer is an important part of the team....Help show the grips.
• No points for grip switching.
• Fondle some nylon ! ! !
